Frequently Asked Questions
When and where does LTI take place?
LTI's Spring Session is a 12-week program that runs from early February to May. Students will attend sessions on the MIT campus every Sunday (excluding holidays and school vacations) from 1pm to 4pm.
What are the students' responsibilities?
Students are expected to complete assignments on a weekly basis, in addition to working on their Final Project throughout the session. During the Closing Ceremony in May, students will present their project proposal to an audience of family, friends, community leaders, and the LTI Board of Directors.
What are the costs for the LTI program?
Absolutely nothing! Each student receives a full scholarship for the program and will receive an additional $200 of guaranteed funding upon completion of the Final Project Proposal and approval from the Board of Directors.
Is transportation subsidized?
Students can apply for a transportation subsidy provided by LTI.
How can I get involved?
